Tab-One, of Raleigh's own Kooley High, offers this new joint - "Vc Insd My Hd" - off his solo project, Tabloids, due out tomorrow (8.31). You can download or just listen over at OKP or usershare. I'm gonna def cop Tabloids tomorrow.

Ladies and Gentlemen: It's time for something fresh... This is the second time that I've run into DJ Mick Boogie. His former mixtape "Jay-Z vs. Nas - God's Gift Special Edition" absolutely blew my mind. The entire mixtape is dedicated to bringing together these two titans in the best possible way. I remember the first time I put it in the CD player...it was magic...who take's "If I Ruled The World" and makes the beat ten times better...?...then proceeds to put Jay-Z on it. Now Mick Boogie is back and he's here to bring new talent Buggs Tha Rocka to the table. I've only listened to the first few songs and I can already tell...it'll be in the dash for the next month.

Recently, college radio sensations Grey Matter put out The Problem EP, six complete tracks from their forthcoming album on Domination Recordings. I'm feelin the dusty synths & distorted samples from producer TEMPERMENTAL and smart, grounded, relentless-truth-spittin from Illustrate on tracks like "Strange Times" and "It's All Included." And what a beat on "The Problem." Dope1
